Born and raised in Mississippi, Jennifer Jordan is a singer / songwriter who cut her teeth around bonfires, on church stages, and in bars her sister snuck her into. Influenced by the incredible women who dominated country radio in the 90s, and the storytellers keeping Americana music thriving today, her “Mississippi Folk” sound is equal parts relatable and memorable.
Jennifer wrote her debut single, “I Keep Trying” about the courage it takes to stand up to the voices that tell us we aren’t good enough, that we can’t do the thing we want to do, or be whoever we want to be. It’s a rallying cry for walking in vulnerability and believing in ourselves. Produced by Grammy nominated producer and #1 hit songwriter Forest Glen Whitehead, “I Keep Trying” is the first release of a 6 song EP to be released later this year.
